Waterloo Earth Day

Celebrate Earth Day on Saturday May 7th in Waterloo! Come join us from 10:00am to 2:00pm for some free family fun at the Laurel Creek Conservation Area for a celebration of the world we live in! Plant one of 1,000 trees, or play and learn at some free, hands-on activities!

Go Wild with a traditional Drum Circle, Build a Bird House or explore Aquatic Ecology! Watch live bird shows and meet the Nature Centre animals, make an Earth Day craft, or use a bicycle generator to make a snow-cone – and Lots More!

Lug-a-mug for a free hot beverage, or Get Refreshed with the Region’s Water Wagon.

Need a ride? A Free Charter bus will be picking up participants from Uptown Waterloo every half hour (Waterloo Memorial Recreation Centre, 101 Father David Bauer Dr)! Try Leaving your car behind to reduce your ecological-footprint!
