On Saturday August 7th David Wilcox was in town for the 2010 Kitchener Blues Festival. We were lucky enough to sit down with him for a few minutes before he took to the main stage to provide free entertainment for thousands of spectators completely taking over King Street in downtown Kitchener.

The Kitchener Blues Festival regularly brings in top shelf entertainment, and David Wilcox fits the bill perfectly. The crowd reacted appropriately when David took the stage, cheering and feeding him back a sample of the fantastic energy that he projects in every performance. It was a fabulous show that I know I was glad I caught, and by the large number of people that were singing along with some of his better known songs, I know I am not the only one that was glad that I chose to spend my Saturday afternoon downtown.
David was extremely welcoming before, during and after the interview and similar to his stage performances, he presented as someone that truly enjoys what he is doing. We didn’t take up too much of his busy schedule, but we did want to ask him a couple of questions of our own.
