Kinsmen’s Stratford Blues and Rib Fest June 26th

Sweet and saucy Blues. Succulent and spicy Ribs!

The first Kinsmen’s Stratford Blues and Rib Festival will bring the two together June 26 from 2 p.m. until midnight at the William Allman Memorial Arena.

Blues festival headliners are Wide Mouth Mason, Bill Durst, Mike Branton, Jordan John and the Blues Angels, Chuck Jackson and Michael Fonfara of Downchild fame and a special performance by Da Blooze Bros (a Blues Brothers tribute). Local bands include Club 42 Revue, Dr. Payne’s Blues Wailers featuring Brad Canning, Stevie T and Kingtone. John Till, a former member of Janis Joplin’s Full Tilt Boogie Band is also in the lineup. The event will end with an all-star blues jam.

An after-party blues jam will be held at Molly Bloom’s Irish Pub.

BBQ Ribs and more will be cooked up by Tango Cafe and Grill and Foster’s Inn.

Concert tickets are $25 in advance available at Filsinger’s, Earthwinds, Anything Grows and Needles or $30 at the door. Tickets are also available at www.ticketwindow.ca or by calling 1-877-700-3130.
