Eye Rhyme: Local band has U.K. Success!!!

I happened to catch a glimpse of this band at the GO Festival in Kitchener earlier this year with their crisp sound and High Tech visual effects it left me craving more.
Their influence can be akin to Rush, Queensryche, Porcupine Tree, but I think they have their own unique sound.
Hitting # 5 on the U.K.charts in Belgium with Kiss taking #3 and Megadeath #4 we can say with confidence that Eye Rhyme is a local band to be reckoned with. This band has re-built a recording studio,”Small Dog Studio” a decade young, toured from one end of the continent to the next, and now they are taking their message and sound across the pond, with great success!
Eye Rhyme toured Mexico rather then Canada… “Canada has never interested us to tour since it’s too many long drives for too little people. We can hit more in Southern Ontario/Quebec/North States”,etc.
I love this band for the visual journey they take you on, along side their musical prowess and politically motivated lyrics, the combo seems to course through one’s veins like a current of “Electricity” it takes you to a “Distant Light” where a “Spaceman Serenade” ‘s you to “Change”. You can find those songs and more on their 2nd Album” Soul” available now on itunes.
Keep an “Eye” on their MySpace at www.myspace.com/eyerhyme or search Eye Rhyme on Facebook for all new and up coming events.
With an ear to the ground and a fist in the air, Brenda Naku Diaz.
