Wake Up and Dream with Something You Whisper
by Peter Ezekiel on Oct.21, 2009, under Cambridge, Concerts, Info, Local Talent, Other
The new C.D. release by Something You Whisper is called ” Wake Up and Dream”, and the quality of the recording is phenomenal, the music is moving and tight and the lyrics are thought provoking.
These up and coming lads are a young group of local musicians who take their craft very seriously. This is evident in “Wake Up and Dream”. The music is upbeat, driving rock which captures your attention from the first note. The C.D. is not one of those over produced forays which leave you disappointed come the live show, they represent the music the same live. This you could find out by attending their show at the Opera House in Toronto tomorrow October 22.
They recorded their latest at Sonica Disturbia in Fergus, Ontario with Koil. The members of S.Y.W. are Kyle Adshade – lead guitar, Nathan Leistra – bass, Wes Will – vocals/ rhythm guitar and Tom McArthur on drums.

From the opening notes of “Wake Up and Dream” to the finale of “If I Was a Magician” S.Y.W. captures and holds your attention.
It just leaves me thinking if this is what these young lads are creating now, then what does the future hold in store, as it seems we can expect great things from them.

Keep amusing your muse, Peter Ezekiel.
