Black Iron Priest Unleashed Classic Metal Fury

My first excursion to Levels Night Club was definitely worth the trip. The club itself has a great feel about it and the opportunity to catch Black Iron Priest live was a real ball rumbler.

The atmosphere was eclectic and friendly as glasses clink the resident raucous rejoiced. The bar was filling up and excitement emanated from its every pore. Just about everybody in this room has jammed together at one point in time or another, it felt like a reunion.

When the band took the stage they represented everything you want in a classic heavy metal band. They were loud, they were tight and they were rocking every face in the place.

Black Iron Priest consists of Steve Goncalves and Steve DiVenanzo on guitars, Darcy White on bass, Mike Watson – vocals and Billy Tombstone on drums. They played great together and Mike’s vocals were phenomenal. The band didn’t miss a beat and the vocal didn’t miss a note. The moment they hit the stage the dance floor was full of leather, hair, beer, smiles and fists were in the air. Playing a combination of covers from Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest the whole club jumped from the moment the first note was played. Don’t miss the opportunity to see these guys live as they are as good musically as they are visually. You’ll catch them next at the Central Tavern in Elmira on “rOctober” 24th starting at 10pm, yes I wrote rOctober.

So line up your pints, bang your head and get those fists in the air. Black Iron Priest put on a great show and will knock you on your ass with their energetic live show.
