Another Weekend of Spectacular Summer Sounds

As we finish off the work week and prepare for some well deserved R”n”R Waterloo Region is ready to deliver. From the Kitchener Blues Festival currently pleasing the general population to Rock the Mill prepping to spread its wings to soar for our local angsters in Dickson Park on Saturday.
I myself am playing Mulligans patio Friday August 7th from 4 to 8 pm, so don’t forget to come out and enjoy a cold one, then I’m off to the Festival of Friends in Hamilton. Check the Festival of Friends website for event information.
Keeping in mind that Saturdays Rock the Mill is not a licensed event, so anyone who chooses to partake in a little pre-show shenanigans should also keep in mind to clean up after themselves. This is an all ages family event and anyone who leaves empty bottles behind is taking a chance at injuring members of our tiny population so please try to keep your mess where it belongs, in the garbage.
Also on Saturday night Rockin the Valley part 2 will be taking place with West Memphis Suicide, Bobnoxious and many others performing to keep you entertained. Camping is available and the property owners and promoters alike would like to remind everyone to bring cans only once again to avoid injury.
If you happen to be down in the Brantford area this weekend, there is the 19th Annual Shakedown Party taking place. With lots of entertainment planned and camping also available, this is another option for readers out that way. Check the Shakedown Party website for more info, or our events calendar for artists listings.
So keep in mind be safe, drive sober and enjoy the plethora of talent this week end has to offer.
Keep amusing your muse, Peter Ezekiel.
