Music – Bikini’s And More At The Grand Bender

This long weekend you have your work cut out for you when choosing how and where to celebrate. Of course there is The Cutting Edge Music Festival happening right here in Kitchener, and for those of you that want to try something on for size a little bit out of the area, there is The Grand Bender which is taking place at The Grand Bend Motorplex. If the combination of camping, kickin musical acts and a “got ass?” bikini contest grabs your attention, you are going to want to choose the latter.
The cutting Edge Music Festival took place in Grand Bend last year and was a solid success. To fill the void this year they are putting on their own party which is going to be filled with hot weather, hotter musical acts, and the hottest bikini contest around. The Motorplex is just 2km from the beach, which rivals Wasaga Beach and Sauble Beach with its crystal clear water and its new 4 million dollar beachfront renovations. There will be thousands of people there to enjoy the shows with, and a fantastic lineup of talent for your listening pleasure.
Hot off the success of the “Beat Rocks The Block” party, 91.5 The Beat is one of the sponsors of this event, and I am quite sure you will be able to find some of their personalities lingering around the stage for the musical acts. It is also a sure fire bet that “Your Man” Mocha will not be far away once the bikini contest fires up.
Besides the opportunity to see the ladies in the above photo, there are going to be hundreds of others that are willing to put themselves out there on stage on Saturday to see if they have the “assets” required to win the coveted title of “The Got Ass Girl” from Grand Bend.
Sorry guys, back to the music. Hosting this event will be handled by Much Music VJ Matte Babel and the following acts are scheduled to fill the stage:
Friday
T Pain
Girlicious
Karl Wolf
P Reign
Fito Blanko
The Girls Can Hear Us
Bordertown
Mathew Johnston
Saturday
Wu Tang’s Raekwon
J Diggz
Exit This Side
Mean Tangerine
DJ Jedi
Grand Bend is always a favourite for people to visit and this event is going to draw thousands of people who are looking for a great party. Keep an eye out for your favourite 91.5 The Beat personality and give a shout out for K-Town, and ladies feel free to buy Mocha a drink. However, please remember to drink responsibly and put your keys away as we want everyone to have a safe long weekend. There are always tragedies in the news after every long weekend, and we don’t want any of our readers to become a statistic.
Have Fun, Stay Safe, and Come Back to Local Vibe for all your entertainment information. See you out there!
