Robbie Hancock Rocks Kelsey’s Patio

Last Tues, I went to the grand opening of Kelsey’s patio at 581 Hespeler Rd. right here in Cambridge and Wow, is all I can say about Robbie Hancock’s interactive collection of covers and originals. Although he mostly covers Johnny Cash spliced with the Beatles with a sprinkle of Radiohead, his originals are to die for as are the stories and humor that precede them.
As a special treat our very own Peter Ezekiel got up for a song request of Metallica. What a great way to relax after a long, hot day, out in the fresh evening air with the great smells of the kitchen pouring out with each dish served right off the grill, pitchers flowing, and even though I hadn’t met any one there before, it was like being out with old friends and from what I hear I only caught a taste. Cuneyt Yetkiner stopped by with a friend and then a spontaneous jam broke out long into the night, a fun time was had by all.
So next time you feel like face booking step away from the computer and go out for the real thing. Also Rob is quite the gentleman I haven’t had my hand kissed in a long while, refreshing to know there are still some well mannered guys left in the world.
