Ontario Musician Compilation Cd:Fundraiser for Frankies Song

We are accepting submissions from local Ontario musicians to feature one song of theirs on a compilation CD, to be released this summer at a live show featuring some of the bands from the compilation. All profits will go to The Frank Foreman Youth Memorial Arts Fund (www.frankies-song.com)

Deadline for submissions HAS BEEN EXTENDED to MAY 16th, 2009.

Songs must be recent (hopefully not more than a year old); bands or artists must be active; and songs should not exceed five minutes in length.

No bands will be required to pay any money to submit their music for listening, and no band will be forced to buy CDs or pay any money at all for being part of this compilation. CD’s will be sold for $10 at release show, and bands can buy them afterward for $5 each to sell for whatever price they like.

We are independent musicians based out of Waterloo Region, ON, Canada, and we are looking primarily to feature bands from this specific area, but we will accept submissions from bands anywhere in Ontario.

Send mp3’s to ontariocompilationcd@gmail.com or ask for a mailing address to mail CD’s. Include your web address with song submissions.

    Again this is an amazing idea not only does it keep Frankie’s memory alive but in his name many many other young aspiring artist get the tools they need to create. In addition to all that it helps put OUR cities talent on the map and promotes the amazing skill set this city’s musicians and other regional cities have.
