Indies, the final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship ‘Vibe’. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new venues, to seek out new bands and new music forms, to boldly go where no mag has gone before.

Report to Captain Rochead from Scotty on The Stone Angels.
The Stone Angels are one of the more dangerous acts that I have encountered on our journey. They were first spotted at tHe Velvet Lounge in January as I outlined in my report The Velvet Invasion. I knew then that they were a force to be reckoned with, they had me stumbling around like my kilt was caught in the warp engines.
Their exact species is difficult to determine. In my best estimation there are strong readings of both Hard Core and Old School, I would suggest “Hardschool.” The alternative, “Oldcore” should be avoided to avoid pissing off Mary5e who has been known to spit venom.

Since that initial appearance they have shown that they are a force to be reckoned with. Although public appearances are rare they are quickly gaining momentum. This was evidenced by their recent conquest of The Kool FM Koolest New Artist Contest.

My concern is that they are not satisfied with just dominating this geographical area, they have plans to invade the Toronto Quadrant by next year, and are hoping for a mass conversion at planet ACC. First Officer Ianmac and Space Cadet Naku managed to get this secret footage where they unveil their plans for Southern Ontario Domination.
All experienced musicians, any of the members of this collective are dangerous on their own.Together they are deadly.
Mary 5e is well known on the local music scene, and she garners most of the attention, but it’s a distraction while the rest of the collective assimilates you. Drummer “Dirty Fern” weilds his sticks with power that make’s Thor’s Hammer look impotent while he shakes the floor you walk on. Bassist Glenn Hughes will hit your spine with riffs that will drive you to you knees. While your on yor knees, the outspoken guirarist Robert SEX, will keep you mesmerized with his axe, while Mary finishes you off with her venomous tongue. The transformation complete, you will go from “Who are they?” to “The Stone Angels RAWK” by the end of the first song.
Captain Rochead, this concludes my transmission on The Stone Angels. I have to resign my commission on the Starship Vibe. I’m going to the ACC to stand in line for tickets.
They will assimilate you, resistance is futile.

LOL! Love this! You’ve revealed that we are RAWK aliens bent on Earthly domination, but that does not deter us! Humans are curious creatures… baiting them this way will only draw them forth, making our goal of assimilation all the easier to achieve! Mwhahaha!
Oh, and I’m partial to Hardschool myself.
