Kool FM is currently running a contest for the coolest local artist. Local Vibe will post a blurb about each this weekend, and provide you the link to vote for your favourite. The contest closes Tuesday.

Paul MacLeod is a singer-songwriter from Waterloo, Ontario. Paul MacLeod is undoubtedly one of Canada’s most valuable, sought-after, and tenacious singer-songwriters, and when a new record of his emerges, you had better believe that that record is built of sweat and blood and beautiful, heart-shattering songs. He has recorded three solo CDs, Tell the Band to Go Home, Close and Play and Bright Eyes Fade. Paul also plays with his band Hibakusha.
