Today we have added another new feature to our site by including featured event spots added into the rotation with some of our advertising near the bottom of the page on the right side. Not only will this mean that overall you will be seeing less random advertising on our site, but it will also assist us in making sure that you are advised of the best opportunities in local entertainment. Not sure what to watch out for? I will give you an example.

Fauxtown Records @ The Groove Kitchen

Event Promoters, Nightclubs, and Bands are encouraged to submit their events to us in order to be included in this promotion. At this time there is ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGE for this, however I foresee that possibly changing in the future depending on the demand and the amount of time that eventually becomes invested in maintaining it. We will also be unable to guarantee that all initial submissions will make it into the promotion as we must handle them on a first-come & first-served basis, except for our advertisers as we will now be including this as one of your features, which is another great reason to advertise with us. That being said, you will notice that our sample is an event that has already happened so get your posters to us today to be the next one in line. Send us your info and we will do what we can to include them all, even if we have to create another section on the site to handle the volume.

The format to submit your ad to us in is similar to the sample provided which is “poster style”, with dimensions that will view well sized down to approximately 300px wide by 400px high. We will create the final image that will be displayed on the website, by including our framed style that is used in the example.

I hope that you the viewers enjoy seeing these featured events and that they make you aware of something that you otherwise might have missed out on. I also hope that the nightclubs and local musicians participate to make sure that they are getting the most exposure that they can get.
