Local Vibe

Hello All,

Some of you may have noticed the newest addition to our site (hint: it is the Pacman game on the right sidebar), or some of you might have thought it was an advertisement. Well it most definitely isn’t an ad, and although it doesn’t really have anything to do with music (except that almost everyone can recognize the all familiar bleeps that fill your ears at the start screen), it is something that we can all relate too.

Who hasn’t had their shot at chasing the blue ghosts around, or rushing back to eat the cherry? Well if you just put your hand up, head over and check this version out. I have to admit that using the keyboard arrows is a bit more of a challenge than a joystick, especially because some of us are older now and may have noticed a slight decrease in our hand eye coordination, or whatever we can get away with blaming our poor performance on.

Scoring aside, it is a fun game that can keep you playing for hours because you will surely find the way to beat those darn ghosts, no matter how fast they end up going.

For those of you that are more into the recent games, you have to check out the new page at the top of the screen called Vibe Arcade. It has is a simulation of Guitar Hero that has been designed for online use. You can play along and learn some new tunes that you might have never heard of before, not like the commercial versions. In keeping with the general direction of the vibe, I feel that this is the way to go as we are giving relatively unknown bands some exposure while we are helping you guys waste your time away (hopefully at home, not work).

You will also other great time wasters there like 9 ball pool and bowling. Leave us your comments and let us know what games you want to see added to the line-up and we will try to accommodate your requests.

The Vibe is all about keeping you entertained and this shouldn’t have to stop just cause the clubs have to close sometime so we are here for you 24 hours a day, and are going to have more games and neat things coming for you to check out in the future.
