NERVOUS WRECKED is the songwriting project of Matthew Davey from Cambridge Ontario Canada. The project existed from 2004-2006 and is survived by 4 DIY full length albums, which are almost out of stock at this point. NERVOUS WRECKED went on hiatus for two years as Davey joined other bands, which he is still a part of, among other local music projects.
Come Friday, January 30th 2009, NERVOUS WRECKED will re-appear as a live, 4-piece band. This will concur with the release of Part-One of NERVOUS WRECKED’s new Two-Part album series “THE CUSP”. “SNAKES” will be released as Part-One at The Galt Room, 13 Main St. Cambridge (2nd floor), Friday January 30th, and will feature Treben’dle, HotKid and Childebeast, all local Cambridge bands.
Past members and contributors included Jacob Tremaine, Jeff Kolnick, Chadlen Casarin, Randy Gagne, Jenny Smylie, Brennan Galley and friends.
Nervous Wrecked will still be available for solo shows, but the new live-band line up will be:
Matthew Davey: vocals, guitar, keyboard, samples and sequences
Jonathan Jackson: synthesizer
Kevin Fraser: bass, vocals
Josh Braga: drums
